Gimlet Labs said on Sept. 4, 2026, that it raised $300 million in a Series B led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z). The company did not disclose a valuation or a closing date.
The round includes Sapphire Ventures, Menlo Ventures, 645 Ventures, Arm, Eclipse, Emergence, Factory, Hudson River Trading, M12, OnePrime Capital, Prosperity7, QuantumLight, Samsung Ventures, Tiger Global Management, Triatomic, Wing Ventures, and XTX Markets.
Gimlet said it has booked billions of dollars in contracted revenue since March, has a gigawatts-scale data-center pipeline and is scaling to hundreds of megawatts of managed capacity. Those are company claims and were not independently verified. These performance claims are unverified and have not been independently validated.
The San Francisco startup’s product, Gimlet Cloud, is designed for heterogeneous inference across GPUs, near-memory systems, dataflow hardware and CPUs. Its approach disaggregates models and inference stages, which Gimlet says can help serve agentic workloads that require low latency and varied compute.
Gimlet claims its architecture delivers 3–10x gains in some workloads and 5–10x gains in others. The company also points to the scale of hedge-industry demand as context for its market opportunity; those mega-statistics are company-cited and should not be read as independently verified metrics.
The financing puts primary-source capital behind a bet that AI infrastructure will need to coordinate multiple kinds of silicon rather than rely on a single accelerator architecture. Gimlet’s announcement did not provide further terms.
